This notice explains what personal data CanvasCY (operated by Tsiakkas Copy Center Ltd) collects when you order a canvas print, why we collect it, and what rights you have. It is written to meet our obligations under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Cyprus data protection law.

Who we are

What we collect

• Order details — your name, email address, telephone number, and (for delivery orders) your postal address. Company name if you supply one for invoicing.
• Your photograph — the image file you upload to be printed, together with technical details such as its pixel dimensions.
• Order content — canvas size, whether you chose a stretched or rolled canvas, delivery or pickup, any notes you add, and the amount paid.
• Payment data — card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

The quality check happens on your device

When you drop a photo into the resolution checker, the check runs locally in your own browser. Your image is only transmitted to us once you proceed to pay for an order.

Why we use it and on what basis

• To produce and deliver your order — necessary to perform our contract with you.
• To contact you about that order — the confirmation email, and the message telling you it is ready.
• To keep accounting and tax records — a legal obligation under Cyprus law.

We do not sell your data, and we do not send you marketing email unless you have separately asked us to.

Who else processes it

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Brevo — sending the order emails.
• Netlify — hosting the website and temporarily holding your uploaded photo between upload and order confirmation.

Each acts on our instructions under a data processing agreement.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as Cyprus accounting and tax law requires. Uploaded photographs are kept only as long as needed to produce your canvas and handle any reprint or complaint, and are then deleted.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@canvascy.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.

Cookies

The site stores your language choice in your browser so it is remembered on your next visit. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
